Pay taxes for prosperity

I am a true Indian.I love everything about being Indian.I also file tax every year.I am a responsible citizen and I contribute to my nation's welfare every year by paying taxes on time. E-filling is compulsory only for income above Rs 5,00,000.It has bundle of benefits attached to it.I love traveling for leisure and business.I keep flying to International destinations so filling tax return is a must as the return document serves as a proof for my financial soundness.As an entrepreneur again my tax return do help me get loans as the banks require it,.having filed the ITR can help any individual like me while applying for a vehicle loan (two-wheeler or four-wheeler).All major banks can ask for a copy of tax returns.Additionally, showing a copy of ITR receipts also comes handy if your loan application is rejected or if you are not getting as much loan as you want.Even while applying for a housing loan many banks ask for ITR receipts. My return documents show my credibility to repay the loan taken from the bank.If you do not file returns, you will not be able to carry forward capital losses (short-term or long-term), if any, in a financial year to be adjusted against capital gains made in the subsequent years.In case of excess deductions e-filling helps me get a refund.One should always e-file the taxes on time in order to avoid paying any penalties.Paying taxes is for our benefit..We all aspire for a better India so everyone should become a responsible citizen and file their returns and pay taxes on time without fear and delays.Income tax is one of the sources of income for the Government, with which it funds infrastructure and welfare projects. It also is a barometer for progress, as rising income tax shows a corresponding growth in income.
